Today, I participated in the concert of a piano class I take
After I started taking the piano class in 2016, February, I participated in concerts of a piano class 5 times. Then, I participated in the 6th concert of the piano class for me today. I will write about today's things.
In the morning, I got up later than scheduled and I played the music I was going to play at the concert a little. I felt a good impression because I was able to play parts I felt were difficult well. I left home long before starting the concert because I was going to Surugaya to sell a music CD. However, just after I bought the ticket, I noticed that I forgot to bring the music CD I would sell. I considered whether I got home to bring it, or not, and I decided to go home. It took about 20 minutes extra to round trip. I arrived at Surugaya 30 minutes later than scheduled. I waited for my turn for about 20 minutes. Because I applied for a purchase reservation and my purchase was only one item, my purchase was completed quickly. I went to the restaurant that carries out all-you-can-eat fried chicken at lunch, but today's Lunch Service was finished. I headed for the concert venue because there was nothing left to do.
I arrived at it about 20 minutes before starting the concert's reception. I spent getting ready at a library next to the venue. The concert's reception started, I entered the concert hall, and I sat in the left seat at the back. Because the concert hall is relatively small, I could greatly look at playing figures even back seat. When the start time came, the concert started with playing by the piano class teacher. I listened to performances for some time because my turn was second to last.
Then, it was my turn. I went up on stage, took a bow for the audience, and tried to adjust the height of a chair. However, I wasn't able to adjust it due to not moving the seat. Without adjusting, because I thought I could play, I sat on the chair and started playing the music. Although I hardly remember during the performance now, I will write what I remember. First, when I played the first cord, I felt the volume was so small despite intending to make the sound of a reasonable volume sensually with my fingers. I was concerned about whether audiences could hear sound or not, but I played it the same way. Second, I made mistakes where I always didn't fail parts. Conversely, I didn't fail parts I thought I might fail. Third, I played it with a higher tempo than usual. Fourth, I played it without thinking anything about the expression. Because I can't remember, I will ask my teacher about expression.
After my turn, the last student and my teacher played, teacher, staff, and students took commemorative photos. At last, I received a souvenir from my teacher and the concert finished. I ate ramen and I got home.
